Will know later...
I had the interview today. They'll meet one other candidate on Wednesday after which I will know where I stand.
This is my last week in this job. After that the part-time assistant is on her own with many of the things she hasn't had any knowledge of prior to this.
Exciting times, eh...

Good luck to you....
Best of luck! I'll be eagerly awaiting your news on Wednesday.
Send a thank you, follow up? Good luck!!
@ItzaRoos - As a matter of fact, they asked me to send my salary request by email after the interview. I thanked for the opportunity to be considered in that email along with the requested info. So, I've got that covered for now. And finding out about the position was also bit of "inside information" so I'm pretty well off there as well.
Don't know about Over There, but Over Here a lot of it is about "Who You Know" rather than "What You Know" for a lot of the smaller, non-government places!
Adobe stuff is fairly intuitive to use -most of the CS lot integrate well- and if it's a friendly place most people will help out anyway!
Good Luck.
and RYC Thanks!
and I've added you.
@pixie_taker - It helps to know the right people around here, too. I've always thought that I don't know any "important" people. It turns out, I've got pretty good network after all.
Yes, I agree about the Adobe stuff. I'm actually self-thought in Photoshop and now InDesign. I know I'm not good at them but I use them adequately for my purposes, which is enough at this point.
