So far, I've got the basics down but all the fancy stuff I could do
with it are still gibberish to me, i.e. I haven't gotten that far yet.

Source of Frustration #273

I'm the kind of person who likes to be nice to others. Lot of times I pay the good deeds forward and for the most part it's okay. It would be nice, though, if someone actually paid back every once in a while...

Well, I'm currently referring to a very specific matter with this... I may or may not elaborate at some point.

The good things today are:
- Hubby's finally coming back home from China
- Four-day weekend because of Easter

This is one of those nights when I wish I could just shut off my brain.

My mind's racing 100 mph with so many things that I've lost count. Oh well, it'll be long Easter weekend soon, so whatever sleep deprivation accumulates from these sleepless nights, I can catch up on my sleep on those four days off.

Long or short haired? Short, though I have a bit longish hair on my belly

What color are your eyes? Yellow with a hint of green
How old are you? I'll be 3 this summer
How many owners do you have? Cats don't have owners. We have staff. There are currently 2 in-house staff members, though the other one's away quite a lot. There's also one on-call staff member (my godmother, i.e. mommy's sister) -- very nice person, by the way
How long have you had this staff? Since September 2005
What is your favorite toy? Balls and toy mice
Where do you sleep? Wherever it's soft and warm (but not too warm)
What is your favorite spot in the house/outside? The heated tiles in the bathroom / sauna
Do you always walk or are you carried? I mostly walk. But I don't mind being carried around either
What is your favorite treat? Tuna
Dry or wet food? Dry food mostly, wet food on occasion but I really don't like it, I just eat some out of courtesy.
Are you social? With adult humans, most of the time. Around kids, not really.
Are you potty trained? Duh, I'm a cat.
Are you neutered? Yes, I'm spayed.
Do you have or have had children? No, thanks
Do you live with other animals? There used to be Pojo the bunny before he fell asleep and never woke up again. But I have three dog cousins. Are all dogs as simple?
Do you like going outside? The going part, not so much because I don't like putting on the harness. Being outside is okay after a while.
Do you like water? For drinking purposes, yes. Small amounts (like the little puddles on shower floor) are okay for playing
Do you wear a collar? Nope.
Do you eat anything other than pet food? Tuna. I get to lick ice cream and yogurt bowls as well.
Do you shed? Ask me how much.
How much does mommy and/or daddy love you? At least as much as I love them.

As for the other things, I'm starting to feel better even though things aren't exactly looking up just yet. But they will eventually, I'm sure of it.

today's my birthday.

Well, it's not such a big deal since there's nothing special about turning 32 -- other than not feeling like being of that age... It wasn't that long ago that a co-worker, who's been with us since October asked how old I am. When I told her that I was 31 at the time, she told me that she didn't think I was over 30 because I seemed like 26 or so to her. And frankly, that's about the age I feel most of the time.

On the job front, the news on Friday weren't the good kind (see protected for more detail). There are also some other things that are causing me to not feel good. I'll probably elaborate on those later (on protected most likely).  Let's just say that I'm having hard time keeping myself together, even though I try to be positive and the ever optimistic me...
