By the way,
today's my birthday.
Well, it's not such a big deal since there's nothing special about turning 32 -- other than not feeling like being of that age... It wasn't that long ago that a co-worker, who's been with us since October asked how old I am. When I told her that I was 31 at the time, she told me that she didn't think I was over 30 because I seemed like 26 or so to her. And frankly, that's about the age I feel most of the time.
On the job front, the news on Friday weren't the good kind (see protected for more detail). There are also some other things that are causing me to not feel good. I'll probably elaborate on those later (on protected most likely).
Let's just say that I'm having hard time keeping myself together, even though I try to be positive and the ever optimistic me...

fyi, nothing feels as great as being called "uncle" or "auntie" by someone the same age or slightly older. i hope you haven't had the privilege to experience that glorious moment as i have just recently.
maybe the key is how old one looks, and how old one acts? you will always be 26 then. =)
