@oneka - You know, a lot of women do that here in the Seattle area "just because". There doesn't have to be a special occasion in order to doll up your fingernails. It's all about making yourself feel fantastic and oddly enough, getting your nails done all girly can be exactly the fix! I got mine done on Sunday, but I went with this cool color by OPI called "Midnight at Moscow", it looks black but in the light it has these burgundy colored glitter specs in it.
@thenlove - "Just because" is good enough reason for me to get something like this done. But in Finland, getting your nails done professionally is still quite expensive in most places unless you've got a friend who does them -- or find a reasonably priced place like I did. That's why most women get them done for special occasions. Though there are also more and more those who simply want to look good on daily basis.
