  • End of an Era...

    ...beginning of something new.

Tomorrow's the last day. I just emptied my work laptop and cell phone. I'll take them back tomorrow morning. I might end up doing some final duties, but I'm not gonna stay a full day. It's time for them to start doing the things themselves -- just like they wanted to.

    ---------------------
Added on Monday: The ad agency job went to someone else. No problem, at least they let me know about it. In a way, I was also relieved as I didn't have to choose between this job (the "Monday") and the one (the "Friday") I got interviewed for last week and will be interviewed for again tomorrow. Because the "Monday" wasn't really my kind of job in the end...

  • Great that you have a second interview for the job you really want! Good luck, and let us know how it turns out!

  • It's always good to interview for jobs you don't want. And even to do so when you aren't looking for a job.

  • @ItzaRoos - That's true because it's a way to find out what you really want and what you don't. But unfortunately I'm not currently in a position where I can just "test the waters": I need to find a new job. Today was my last day in my assistant job for the real estate agency... They let me go...

  • @oneka - So, I was stating the obvious, really. Too bad I can't edit my own comments -- I would've done so to the previous... This whole situation is a bit surreal to me. I have no idea what happened during my holiday. Because before I left, everything was fine and I couldn't see any hints that there had been some talks about not being able to afford to keep a full-time assistant...

Now, they're saying that the job I had might've become way too easy for me in quite a short while. But I can't help it that I learn quickly and that lot of the things become effortless to me. But it doesn't mean I wouldn't like doing them.

Anyway, I gotta just look forward and believe that all this is just for the better in the end. What else could it be?
