Winds of Change

Can you believe it that I've been in my "new" job for four months already. My trial period ended on 21st and there were no question about whether I get to continue or not. But there are also major changes happening as the company I'm working for now will be merging to the mother company on Jan. 1st. 2009. As a result, I received a new position in the new organization this week.

I'm currently working as Customer Service Assistant. My new title will be Sales and Marketing Coordinator. In the new position I will be supporting both corporate and global sales teams. Plus I'll be coordinating client meetings when necessary. My role will be better defined during this fall but the outline seems interesting so far. It was interesting enough for me to sign the contract for this position already.

I'm actually happy for these changes. On the work front life's pretty good at the moment.

So, I went shopping on Saturday

I had nothing better for Saturday so I decided ex tempore to go shopping at a fairly close-by shopping mall. After about an hour and half of effective shopping I walked away with about 6 bags of shopping. I found knitted tops, pants, a coat, shoes, a hand bag, some underwear and couple of tops for my sis.

To be honest, it was quite satisfying to have found so much in such a short while. And all of the things I found were on my list of garments and things to get at some point. I love it when I go just for fun, I find all the things I'm not able to find when I go in to look for something in particular.

But as a result, I won't go shopping like that in the near future because even though I liked this spree, my wallet somewhat told me not to splurge like this anytime soon.
