@ThatsMyPoint - Mom's actually doing quite okay. She's sad, of course, but at the same time calm and reliefed. I told her not to feel guilty for thinking her father is better off now, because he is. As a matter he had said that he didn't want to be withering away in a hostpital, being turned by the nurses... I guess he got his wish.
Mom's sister came in today and they took care of the things necessary regarding the funeral and such, most of it anyway. The funeral is not until July 18. It's common in Finland to have the funeral even 2-3 weeks after the passing.
Grandma was also surprisingly coherent and knew about grandpa's passing since the nurses had told her. I suppose she has good days and those that are a bit foggy.

Such passing is always sad, no matter how expected or when, in a sense, it's a relief...it's still hard. Glad you are all coping well.
